1/19/18 was the annual March for Life. This is an emotional reminder of the role my mother boldly took on as executive director of Planned Parenthood in Pittsburgh immediately post Roe vs. Wade. This was omitted from her obituary by my stepfather in January 2012. I have felt ashamed all these years that I allowed this to happen.
I encourage all our local women to stand tall and strong just as my mother Frances did in 1973.
